Dr. Luis Guerrero Martínez is currently chair of the Philosophy Department of the Universidad Iberoamericana.
He was professor and chair of the Humanities, International Relations and Law Departments of the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico City campus.
Professor Guerrero specializes in philosophy of the XIX century and, particularly in the Danish philosopher, Søren Kierkegaard. He is president of the Ibero-American Society of Kierkegaardian Studies. He has also dedicated to the analysis of the construction of philosophical discourse from an argumentative and methodological perspective.
Among his publications we can find: Philosophy in the XX century: a bibliographical map (2010), Who decides what is right and what is wrong? Ethics and rationality (2008).The subjective truth.Kierkegaard as a writer (2004).Kierkegaard: The limits of reason in human existence (1993). Logic: Formal deductive reasoning (1992). Some treatises such as: The ethical perspective in the new Mexican context (1997), The ethical parameter of decisions (1991). He has also published over 50 articles in several printed media.
